Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College & Hospital maintains an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address complaints relating to sexual harassment in accordance with applicable provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and applicable regulatory requirements.
The institution follows a zero-tolerance approach towards sexual harassment and is committed to providing a professional environment where students, faculty, employees and other members of the institutional community can work and learn with dignity and respect.

What is POSH?
POSH refers to the legal framework for prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women at the workplace. Institutions are required to maintain appropriate mechanisms for receiving and addressing complaints.

The Internal Complaints Committee provides an institutional mechanism for receiving complaints, conducting the applicable inquiry process and recommending appropriate action in accordance with the applicable law and institutional rules.

Complaints and related proceedings are handled with appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity. Information is shared only as permitted or required under applicable law and procedure.
How to Submit a Complaint
- Write a clear description of the concern or incident.
- Include relevant dates, location and other available details.
- Attach supporting documents, if applicable.
