Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College & Hospital is a private medical college at Baijnathpur, Saharsa, on NH-107, serving the Koshi region of Bihar. The college admitted its first MBBS batch in 2019 and runs undergraduate and postgraduate medical education alongside a 1025-bed attached teaching hospital.
Because the teaching hospital serves a large rural population that previously had to travel far for tertiary care, students here see a wide range and volume of clinical cases from their earliest clinical years — while patients across Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura and neighbouring districts get specialist care close to home.
