Dr. Prabhas Kumar Singh, affectionately known as Dr. P. K. Singh Ji, was the Founder and Former Chairman of Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College & Hospital. A visionary, a healer, and a reformer — he dedicated his life to bringing quality medical education and compassionate healthcare to the Koshi region.

A graduate of Darbhanga Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), he earned both his MBBS and MS there. In 2012, under the Lord Buddha Siksha Pratishthan, he founded LBKMCH — the first medical college in the Koshi division. His vision also gave rise to the Lord Buddha Koshi Pharmacy College and the Lord Buddha Koshi Nursing Sansthan, creating a complete ecosystem of healthcare education.

A proud participant in the 1974 JP Movement, Dr. P. K. Singh Ji was a pioneer in simulation-based nursing training in India and remained, throughout his life, a true servant of society.
